Erie, PA – On Thursday, August 2nd, the Erie Dairy Queen® and DQ Grill & Chill® locations are encouraging the local community to visit their restaurant and purchase a
Blizzard Treat to benefit Saint Vincent Hospital.
For every Blizzard Treat sold on DQ® Miracle Treat Day on Thursday, August 2 at the Dairy Queen® or DQ Grill & Chill® restaurants, proceeds will be donated to Saint
Vincent Hospital. Children’s Miracle Hospitals® (CMNH) raises funds and awareness for 170 children’s hospitals across the U.S. and Canada including Saint Vincent Hospital.
At Dairy Queen, we love to see kids focus on being kids”. We do this to help save and improve the lives of children treated at Saint Vincent Hospital. Together, with
the help of our local DQ fans, we’re able to help kids right here in our community get the care they need. That is a powerful partnership!”
Last year, locally owned and operated Dairy Queen restaurants across the U.S. and Canada combined to raise more than $4 million on Miracle Treat Day for their local
CMN Hospitals. Since 1984, the Dairy Queen system has raised more than $135 million for the charity through fundraising efforts including Miracle Treat Day, the Miracle
Balloon campaign and other local initiatives.
The featured Miracle Treat Day Blizzard Treat of the Day is Oreo®, the most popular Blizzard Treat to date. The Blizzard Treat of the Month for August in the U.S. is
the new Reese’s® Outrageous! Blizzard Treat. All other Blizzard flavors are also available that day, including those on the new Summer Blizzard Menu, are also
