Man Injured in Motorcycle vs SUV Crash

A 52 year old Meadville man was hospitalized after his motorcycle was hit by an SUV while traveling along Harmonsburg Road in Summit Township Crawford County. According to investigators Marianne Suprys of Linesville was making a left hand turn into a driveway and had failed to use her turn signal. Tim Smith’s bike was nudged by her RAV4 and he ended up losing control and colliding with a roadside fence.

 

Truck Hits Phone Pole and Sends Two Women to Hospital

Two Women were sent to be evaluated for injuries at UPMC Northwest after a collision with a utility pole in Venango County. Ira and Lisa Crusan were involved in the one car accident while traveling along Bredinsburg Road Thursday when Ira lost control of her Chevy S-10 and hit the pole. The truck spun 180 degrees and continued travelling off the road for more than 400 feet.

 

Catholic Clergy Cite Concerns for Reputation in Fight Against AG

Multiple members of the Catholic Clergy in Pennsylvania are opposing the release of a report about efforts to conceal allegations of sexual abuse by priests in the Commonwealth. The clergymen argue the report is full of improper assertions and would cause irreparable harm to reputations unless its revised. Attorney General Josh Shapiro argues that its an attempt to cover up abhorrent conduct on behalf of the church.
