Linesville Argument Ends With Death Threats

A Linesville man is being charged with assault, fear and menacing, and other charges after pulling a gun on a woman during an argument. It’s alleged that 49 year old Eric Grenesko menaced a 28 year old woman with a .357 caliber revolver on July 2nd; threatening to shoot and kill her and grabbing her by the neck. Grenesko is awaiting arraignment in Crawford County Jail.


Hit and Run at Emlenton Gas Station

Franklin State Police are investigating a July 4th hit and run at COGO’s in Emlenton. A vehicle, most likely a large truck, pulled down wires connecting an exterior video camera in the gas island to the store. The camera was not operating at the time of the incident and the destruction of the wires caused damage to the store’s gas awning.


State News: Firefighter Pleads Guilty to Lighting Fires

A former Westmoreland County firefighter issued a guilty plea after starting nearly a dozen wildfires two years ago. 20 year old Dylon Miller admitted to setting 11 fires over a 6 week period in the summer of 2016. Miller avoided multiple felony charges with his plea deal and will serve 4 years probation and a $44,000 fine.
