Burglary Outside Titusville

The home of Summer Segeleon, a Venango County Woman with a Titusville address, was burglarized at around 8:50AM yesterday morning. One or more suspects entered through the front door of her home on Meadville Road in Cherry Tree Township and stole a push mower, laminate flooring, wood trim, and wood stripper. Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have information on the identity of a suspect call the Franklin State Police at (814)676-6596.
Man Charged with DUI after Passing Out in Car

A Union City Man found slumped over in the seat of his car turned out to simply be drunk. State Police from Corry and an EMS unit responded to an emergency call about the man only to find that he was in a drunken stupor and he’s been charged with DUI.
EMTs and Lawmakers Rally in Harrisburg Wednesday

A rally is to be held tomorrow at the Capitol Rotunda in Harrisburg to support two pieces of legislation that supporters say would provide more revenue to struggling Emergency Medical Services companies. Specifically the rally supports House Bill 699 which would increase the reimbursement rates for Medicaid and Senate Bill 1003 which would allow EMS companies to seek reimbursement for when they treat people on the scene of an emergency but do not transport them.
Erie Man Arrested for Union City Assault

An Erie man whose identity is withheld by police is charged with Harassment, Trespassing, Simple Assault, and Burglary after attacking the occupants of a Union City residence. The 60 year old man is accused of kicking in the front door of a 33 year old woman’s home and attacking a male occupant and then driving himself back to his home in Erie.
Emergency at High School was Accidental False Alarm

A police emergency at Rocky Grove High School turned out to be an accidental butt dial. Sugarcreek Police responded to a 911 call at around noon on Friday June 1st that they had traced back to the Rocky Grove High School. They requested a lockdown due to an unknown situation and responded quickly to the scene and it was eventually discovered that a student in gym class had accidentally pocket dialed the police. The whole call played out in less than 15 minutes.
Flight 93 Memorial Finally Completed this year

The final phase of the Flight 93 Memorial outside of Shanksville Pennsylvania will be finished by September 11th. The final piece for the memorial is the 93 foot tall Tower of Voices which should be open for visitors by September 9th. The tower will have wind chimes for each of the passengers and crew who died in the crash and be surrounded by a grove of trees.
