Man Arrested for Pushing Sister into Traffic

When a Memorial Day argument suddenly turned violent State Police say a Blooming Valley man pushed his own sister into traffic. Robert Cross is accused of throwing his sister Rebecca to the ground multiple times and then pushing her into the road where there was moving traffic. Cross was remitted to Crawford County Jail to await arraignment.

 

Massachusetts Trio Caught with Party in their Car

Marijuana, cocaine, ecstasy and the paraphernalia to use them were discovered inside the vehicle of two men and a woman from Massachusetts that was stopped by the Clarion State Police. Anthony Karpowich Junior, Jordan Hanlon, and Adam Buck have all been arraigned on possession related charges.

 

Extreme Risk Protection Bill Comes to Assembly

What’s known as “Red Flag” gun legislation has been introduced in the Pennsylvania General Assembly. The bill introduced by Republican State Representative Todd Stephens would allow law enforcement to confiscate a persons firearms with an Extreme Risk Protection Order issued by a judge who feels they pose an imminent threat to themselves or someone else. The subject of such an order would be allowed to appeal the decision.

 

Fake Constable Arrested for Sexual Assault

Harry Billotte was arrested by State Police from Clarion County for impersonating a public servant and indecent assault. Its alleged the 74 year old man claimed he was a State Constable and used his assumed authority to sexually assault a 22 year old woman. Anyone else who has encountered or been victimized by Billotte should contact the Clarion State Police. (814)226-1710.

 

Drug Addled Cali Man Arrested by State Troopers

State Police from Meadville arrested a California Man for DUI and Fleeing and Eluding Authorities. 29 year old Jeremy Brown was under the influence of drugs when he tried to run from police in his vehicle and on foot but was too messed up to get very far.

 

New Prison Opens This Week

At a price tag of almost $400 million Pennsylvania’s newest and most expensive prison will be formally dedicated this Friday. SCI Phoenix is the replacement of Graterford State Prison which opened in 1929. Inmates will be transferred to the prison by the end of June
