Three Car Crash Kills Two Men, Injures Woman

PSP Franklin
A fatal Thursday morning crash just outside Oil City took the lives of two men and injured a Tionesta woman. A school van was waiting to make a turn in the eastbound lane of SR157 southeast of Oil City when Michael Falla of Dover, Delaware, also heading east, apparently failed to notice it was stopped. Falla swerved to avoid the van but struck it on the left rear and spun into the west bound lane.  A third vehicle driven by Christina Cohlepp of Tionesta unavoidably collided with the driver’s side of Falla’s car and both vehicles ended up in the ditch. In the aftermath of the accident Michael Fall and his passenger Bryant Atwell of Kennerdell were both pronounced dead by Venango County Coroner Christina Rugh. Christina Cohlepp was taken to UMPC Northwest and later released after minor injury treatment. The driver and passenger of the van were both unharmed.
