Texas Native Arrested for DUI and Assaults FPD Officers

A Texan man, Joseph Ibarra from San Antonio, could be spending a long time behind bars in Pennsylvania after allegedly harassing and assaulting multiple officers of the Franklin Police Department. The 44 year old was suspected of DUI and fought with officers when they attempted to administer field tests. He also fought with officers and hospital staff at UPMC when they tried to serve a blood draw warrant, shouting threats at officers and headbutting one in the face. He’s been charged aggravated assault on a police office, resisting arrest, driving under the influence, disorderly conduct, driving with an open container, and harassment.


PA Government Wants More Electric Cars

A new bill in Pennsylvania’s General Assembly seeks improve infrastructure for electric cars in the Commonwealth. House Bill 1446 seeks to at least double the amount of electric cars and statewide charging stations in 10 years. Its receiving broad support from automobile makers and environmentalists alike. There are around 12,000 electric cars and 300 charging stations in Pennsylvania.


Cosby Accuser Takes the Stand

Andrea Constand takes the stand today to testify against Bill Cosby. Constand alleges that in 2004 she was drugged and then sexually assaulted by the comedian. She’s testifying for the second time after a hung jury last June necessitated a retrial of the case.
