A Licensed Nurse at a Crawford County nursing home is being accused of stealing medication from patients at the facility. Kim Lesher of Springboro was in charge of distributing medication to patients at Rolling Fields Elder Care Community in Conneautville. It’s alleged that Lesher was fraudulently documenting pills as distributed to patients and taking them for herself.


Kayla Custer, a Clarion Woman, is being charged with numerous misdemeanors after an incident on March 17th. According to State Police in Clarion Custer was arrested for assaulting her boyfriend and resisted police attempts to take her into custody. It’s also alleged that while being processed at the barracks she caused willful damage to property inside the station.


The Pennsylvania State Senate has unanimously approved of two new pieces of legislation that could make huge changes to the criminal justice system. The Senate approved Pennsylvania’s own version of ‘Marsy’s Law’ which grants the same constitutional protections to victims of crime as it does the accused. It’s the first step in amending the state constitution. The Senate also passed new legislation that would force anyone with a domestic violence ruling against them to turn over any firearms they possess within 48 hours.
