Emmet Freshcorn in Custody

On Monday News Live reported on a Federal arrest warrant to be served by Clarion State Police for Emmet Andrew Freshcorn. By Monday night State Troopers confirmed he was in their custody. A look into court records shows Freshcorn was charged with 27 counts of animal cruelty in 2017 for neglecting horses on his Cranberry area farm. He was also arrested along with two others in Nebraska in 2017 for for possessing heroin and other drugs.


Man Injured in I-80 Crash

A Philadelphia man was injured in an I-80 crash near Barkeyville during last week’s snow storms. State Troopers indicate Kevin Burton lost control of his Pontiac G6 while attempting to pass a semi tractor trailer on the interstate. He was taken to Grove City Medical Center.


Special Election Garners National Attention

All eyes are on Pennsylvania’s 18th Congressional District to watch the special election taking place in the Pittsburgh Region. Many forecast that the results of this election could be an indicator of the results of the midterm election in November. Democrat Conner Lamb and Republican Rick Saccone are running for the congressional seat once held by the disgraced Republican Tim Murphy for 14 years.
