Woman Uninjured in Major One Car Crash

A woman managed to evade injury after her car went airborne, rolled over, and collided with a tree. The Subaru outback driven by Jessica Roush went airborne after hitting an embankment in Clarion County’s Limestone Township along Forest Drive after she lost control. She was wearing her seatbelt and unharmed.

Dentist Charged With More than $1 Million in Insurance Fraud

In state news a Bucks County dentist has been charged with $1.5 million dollars in Medicaid fraud when he was allegedly caught billing the state backed insurance provider for hundreds of fake procedures. Doctor Ilya Babiner has been charged by the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s office with Medicaid fraud, theft by deception, tampering with public records and related offenses.

Philadelphia Wins NFL’s Big Game

 

The Lombardy Trophy has returned to Pennsylvania as the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the New England Patriots 41 to 33 in the NFL Championship Game. The championship is the team’s first since it was founded in 1933, the Eagles had never won a championship until Sunday night.
