Criminals Steal Televisions from Woman’s Home

58 year old Lori Heart of Franklin Pennsylvania is the victim of a January 2nd burglary in her home. After breaking the lock on her back door the actors removed a 55 inch Viso LCD television and a 33 inch Roku television as well two bottles of liquor. The thieves left in an unknown direction inside a grey Kia van.


EPA Orders Pipeline Construction Stopped

In a 24 page order sent to the Sunoco Company the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection has ordered all construction stop on the Mariner East 2 natural gas pipeline.  The pipeline is to move natural gas products from the Marcellus Shale region across the state toward Philadelphia. The State cites a variety of ways Sunoco has violated its construction permits and will not allow construction to continue until all its grievances are addressed.


Scammer Poses as Sheriff’s Deputy

Sheriff Walter (Nick) Hoke of Crawford County wants to let everyone know phone calls from a man calling himself Deputy Mark Davis are a scam. The scammer identifies himself as Deputy Mark Davis from the sheriff civil division but Crawford County has no such deputy and no such division.  If you have questions or are contacted by this scammer call the real sheriff at (814)333-7411 and talk to a real deputy.


Wanted: Jennifer Elder

Clarion State Police have issued an arrest warrant for Jennifer Marie Elder of Emlenton. A photograph issued with the proclamation shows Elder is a 23 year old white female with black hair and dark eyes. Elder is wanted for burglary and anyone with information regarding her whereabouts should call (814)226-1710


Pennsylvania’s 102nd Annual Farm Show Starts Soon

Despite the frigid weather across the state the 102nd annual Pennsylvania Farm Show takes place in Harrisburg this weekend. According to a press release from Russell Redding, the secretary of agriculture this year’s theme is ‘Strength in our Diversity’. There will be more than 5,300 animals in this year’s livestock competitions and Pennsylvania’s new Pollinator Protection Plan will be unveiled during the event.
