Celebrities Are Stepping Up to Help Hurricane Harvey Victims

Celebrities are stepping up to help Hurricane Harvey victims. Beyoncé, Oprah Winfrey, and Reese Witherspoon are are just a few of the celebrities who are slated to participate in the multi-network telethon Hand in Hand: A Benefit for Hurricane Harvey Relief. The telethon is to assist those affected by the devastating storm. Hand in Hand will air September 12 at 8 p.m. on ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX and CMT.

Hand in Hand is a one-hour special based in Los Angeles “with stages in New York, Nashville and a special performance by Country Music icon and Texas native George Strait from his San Antonio benefit concert.”

George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Matthew McConaughey, Blake Shelton, Karlie Kloss, Kelly Rowland, Barbra Streisand and more also are set to participate.

Proceeds from the telethon will benefit United Way of Greater Houston, Habitat for Humanity, Save the Children and other organizations.
