Three Slain in Murder Suicide

Neighbors thought that Saturday night’s gunfire was target practice or fireworks

North East, PA –

James Hemmis Junior shot and killed Teresa Marogolio and Christopher Feucht before turning the gun on himself. The shootings happened in Northeast on Saturday Evening but nobody discovered the bodies until Sunday morning. Indications are that some kind of domestic issue was the driving factor behind the crime, Hemmis and Marogolio shared a home together and Teresa was sitting on the patio with their next door neighbor Christopher Feucht when Hemmis retrieved his weapon from inside and then shot both of them multiple times.

Several nearby neighbors heard the gunshots but didn’t think anything about it, some assumed it was fireworks, others thought it was someone target shooting. It wasn’t until 11am on Sunday morning that Feucht’s landlord found the three bodies/ According to the PA State Police investigation there are no unresolved issues with the case.
