Chocolate Good For The Heart

A new study by Harvard Medical School reveals that eating chocolate slashes a person’s risk of an abnormal heartbeat by more than 20%.

Women, who consume one chocolate bar a week, cut the risk of developing an irregular heartbeat by 21%.
Men, who consume two to six chocolate bars a week, cut the risk of developing an irregular heartbeat by 23%.
Researchers tell the Daily Mail: ”Despite the fact that most of the chocolate consumed in our sample probably contained relatively low concentrations of the potentially protective ingredients, we still observed a robust statistically significant association.”
