Delinquent’s Escape Custody

Three teens on the loose after breaking out of Abraxas 1

Forest County, PA –

Three troubled teenagers escaped from the Abraxas 1 juvenile facility in Forest County and stole a car in Marienville. 15 year old Damon Rickets, 16 year old Adante Smith, and 17 year old Jammi Clark Jr were later involved in a hit and run incident along I-80 and police are still searching for them. The three teens made their escape at about 1:30am Sunday morning and stole a 200 Crown Victoria from an unanimous 53 year old man.


Smock Bridge Traffic Restrictions to Resume

Single lane restrictions return Wednesday

Meadville, PA –

Smock Bridge in Meadville will see restricted traffic once more as the 2017 maintenance season kicks off. On Wednesday traffic will once again be restricted to a single lane while crews work to restore the bridge, the restrictions will last until late May. The rehabilitation work is designed to add fifty years to the service life of the bridge which is the main artery connecting Meadville with Vernon on State Routes 322 and 19 and hosts as many as 22,000 cars a day but no detours are expected to be necessary while the work continues.


Man Crashes Car and Reports it Stolen

Casey Nadolny accused of trying to cover up accident

Titusville, PA –

A Titusville man tried to cover up his car accident by reporting his car stolen. State Police from Corry discovered the car of Casey Nadolny on its roof and blocking part of Keyes Road after he had allegedly fled the scene to report his car stolen in Titusville. Nadolny is being charged with Fleeing the Scene of an Accident, and Driving Without a License, as well as Filing a False Report with the potential for other charges pending.


Bulldogs are Going to Hershey

The 26-1 Meadville Bulldogs Boys Basketball Team Advances to the PIAA Finals

Altoona, PA –

Last night the dogs rallied to defeat the Northeastern Bobcats 56 – 49 in the PIAA Semi-Finals to advance to the State Championship this Friday at 8pm. The Bulldog’s win came behind a very strong performance by the team’s three top scorers. Lashon Lindsey lead the team and posted a double double (double digits in points and rebounds) scoring 20 points and making several huge rebounds in the second half. Armoni Foster is Meadville’s all time high scorer and put up 18 points before being fouled out in the fourth quarter, he fell short of his 25 points per game average. Sim Wolfard was perfect (5 for 5) on free throws and scored a total of 10 points. 

The Bulldogs will either play District 2’s Abington Heights or District 12’s Archbishop Wood Friday at 8pm at the GIANT Center in Hershey PA. The game will of course be carried on The Allegheny News Talk Sports Network with the pregame show starting at 7:30 pm.
