Child Leads State Police to Large Drug Arrest
Seven year old brings pipe to school
Venango County, PA –
On the 14th a seven year old boy brought a metal pipe full of marijuana to Pleasantville Elementary School. The child was the son of James Hollobaugh and Christina Sanders of Oil City who were found with a significant amount of the drug which they freely admitted to using. They told State Troopers from Franklin that they did have marijuana and that they would not pass a drug test, they also said they did not know if there were any other drugs in the house and refused to allow a search without a warrant. After a warrant was served troopers discovered 12 baggies filled with marijuana as well as scales, pipes, and other drug paraphernalia.
Hollobaugh and Sanders have been charged with multiple counts of Felony Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession with the Intent to Manufacture or Deliver, Misdemeanor Intentional Possession of Controlled Substance By Person Not Registered, Misdemeanor Use/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor Endangering Welfare of Children, Misdemeanor Parent/Guardian/Other Commits Offense, Misdemeanor Corruption of Minors, and Misdemeanor Endangering Another Person. The total comes to sixty charges against each of them.
Meadville’s Next Police Chief Named
Assistant Chief Michael Tautin will step up to the job

Meadville’s next Chief of Police has already been picked ahead of the retirement of Chief Young. Assistant Chief Michael Tautin was picked on Wednesday to become the top cop on April 21st, the same day Young will officially retire. Tautin is a 17 year veteran of MPD and worked his way up from a Patrolman all the way to Assistant Chief by 2013.
Two Erie Fugitives Caught by US Marshals
Grover Lyons and Keyon Lucas were caught in Detroit Michigan

Two fugitives wanted for murder in Erie were arrested by US Marshals in Detroit on Wednesday Night. Grover Lyons who is wanted for shooting Daron Germany on the 31st of December and fourteen year old Keyon Lucas who witnesses say killed Lavell Beason last month on the 23rd.
Man Arrested at Meadville House Fire Unrelated Incident
Fire ruled accidental
Meadville, PA –
Monday’s Randolph Street fire in Meadville is expected to be ruled an accident. The man police arrested at that scene was for an unrelated incident of public drunkenness. Two dogs are still missing after the fire was put out and the resident cat was killed.
