Bumbling Burglars Bungle Break-Ins

Northwest PA –

In the dead of night some unidentified ne’er do wells attempted to rob the Columbus Post Office. On Friday the 10th sometime between midnight and four A.M. unknown persons pried open the back door and attempted to remove a safe but it was too heavy. If you have any information please call The Pennsylvania State Police in Corry at (814)663-2043.

In a separate incident two people attempted to break into Spanky’s Tobacco World in Oil City on Monday the 6th through an east side door and at about 6am after being spotted they fled in a dark colored truck. Another Sandusky, Another Child Sex Scandal

Rockview, PA –

The son of Jerry Sandusky convicted child rapist and former Defensive Coordinator for Penn State football, Jeffrey Sandusky, was arrested for sex offenses of his own yesterday. So far he has been arraigned on 14 charges involving two teenage girls. Police claim to have in their possession a series of text messages where he attempts to solicit nude photographs from a teenage girl and witness testimony that he solicited another girl for oral sex in 2016. Jeffrey (Jeff) Sandusky’s brother Matt was not charitable when asked by the media about the situation and said “[If the allegations are true] he deserves the maximum of whatever sentence the judge will give him.”

 

Ernst Trail Gains International Recognition

Washington, DC –

The Clearwater Award which honors outstanding grassroots efforts to maintain waterfronts was given to French Creek Recreational Trail Inc. who are the custodians of Ernst trail in recognition of their twenty year effort to maintain the 11 mile trail through nothing but community volunteers. The award is was created by the Waterfront Center which is an international organization dedicated to helping communities develop urban waterfronts.
