No ketchup the morning after The Big Game

Bloomberg News claims Heinz Ketchup is giving all of its salaried U.S. employees the Monday off following the Super Bowl. Instead of purchasing a $5 million Super Bowl commercial, the company is using the money on a free vacation day for its employees
The company released a statement about the day after the Super Bowl becoming a national holiday. “We wanted to get behind an initiative that we know people feel strongly about. The Heinz brand doesn’t settle on delivering superior taste or quality, and we don’t believe America should have to settle on the day after the best sports day of the year.’
