Five Meadville Footballers Head to the Next Level

2016 was a banner year for Meadville Bulldogs Football. After a rocky start the Dogs had an 11 game winning streak and took home the district championship then kept their momentum through the post season all the way to the Quarter-Finals in the playoffs. Now five of Meadville’s Seniors have graduated to the next level and are planning on playing college ball after they graduate from high school. Luke Sherrod will be playing at Grove City, and Washington and Jefferson University has signed Darius Edwards while Barret Hoffman is keeping things local and signed to play with the Fighting Scots at Edinboro University. Antonio Ferraro has joined the ranks of Indiana University of Pennsylvania and of course last but not the least; Journey Brown signed for a full ride at Penn State University and was also recently named to Parade Magazine’s High School All-American football team.
