Multi-Agency Active Shooter Drill to be held in Venango County

According to Pennsylvania State Police, on Thursday, February 2, 2017 multiple agencies throughout Venango County will be joining forces in a collaborative effort to test emergency responsiveness to an active shooter scenario. The exercise will be held at 1:30pm at Franklin High School in Sandycreek Township. Local residents should expect to see numerous emergency response vehicles while the drill is in progress.

Participating agencies include multiple law enforcement agencies, Venango County Public Safety, Franklin School District, Community Ambulance, Venango County Human Services, Venango County Court Supervision, local fire departments and PennDOT.
