Governor Wolf is Cancer Free

Harrisburg, PA –

Last Wednesday after a year long battle with prostate cancer Pennsylvania’s Governor Tom Wolf  received a clean bill of health. The now 68 year old Governor broke the news last February in a public address where he encouraged people to get regular cancer screenings but the news that his cancer had been successfully treated was released by his spokesman J.J. Abbot. Though he never stopped working during his cancer treatments his clean bill of health comes at a time when the Governor will need to be healthy and energetic – he needs to get ready for a second campaign for the 2018 election and he needs to work closely with the General Assembly to close a budget deficit that if unaddressed could could widen to $3 Billion.
