Man KIlled When Tractor Flips

Vernon Township, Crawford County, PA – A Crawford County man died after his tractor rolled over. 63 year old Daniel Scott was cutting firewood on his family farm near Conneaut Lake when a felled tree he was dragging with his tractor caught on a snag. The snag caused the tractor to flip onto its side and Mr. Scott was pinned beneath the tractor where he expired.


Work on Oil City Transit Hub Begins

Oil City, PA – Oil City’s abandoned parking garage is in the process of demolition which launches a major project to build a new transportation hub for County Vehicles. The demolition process began on Monday to destroy the five story structure and a transportation hub will be built in its place. The Transit Hub project has a price tag of $11 million dollars and will be owned by Venango County when it’s completed and the demolition will be finished in June.


Bulldogs Football Star to Play for Penn State

Meadville, PA – Journey Brown, one of Meadville football’s finest ever athletes has made national headlines again after committing to play for The Penn State Football Nittany Lions. Brown’s career record of 7,027 rushing yards and 104 touchdowns helped him earn a 3 star rating, he is Pennsylvania’s 15th overall best prospect and second best running back as well as one of the top 100 backs in the country. Brown has also received offers from Temple and Syracuse.
