CSX Train Collided with Car in Erie County

Erie PA – At 3am Monday morning on the tracks at 14th and Wayne a CSX train collided with a car, details are still scarce but the still conscious driver of the car was freed using the jaws of life and brought to a hospital. The victim as well as the hospital they were taken to has not been identified and the incident was still being investigated Monday Night.


Large Number of Weapons Stolen in Linesville

Linesville PA – Half a dozen firearms were stolen from a Linesville home and State Police are looking for leads. The six weapons and other miscellaneous items were taken from the home of Codie King of 9111 Lebhaft Road Linesville, Crawford County, Pennsylvania; if you have any information that could be helpful please call Pennsylvania State Police (814)332-6911.


Woman Ignores Police/River and has a Beer

York PA – They say the best drunk driving stories come from Pennsylvania and here is an example of what they are talking about. When police tried to stop an anonymous woman for ignoring a stop sign she ignored not only them but the Susquehanna River as well… driving right into the icy waters with her car and then having herself another beer. After being fished out of the water by a fire department she has been hospitalized.


City of Meadville Disposing of Resident’s used Christmas Trees

Meadville PA – Christmas tree pickup in the city of Meadville is here this week and depending on what days your garbage is collected Tri-County Industries will dispose of it for you. If you have your garbage collected on Monday or Wednesday your tree can be collected on Wednesday the 11th and Thursday or Friday Routes will be picked on on Friday the 13th. If you miss either pickup date the Crawford Area Young Chamber of Commerce will pick up your tree on Saturday the 14th. All pickup dates are final and all you need to do in all cases is to set the discarded tree out to the curb.
