Not on a Tuesday

A study by Tesco Diets reveals that Tuesday is the worst day of the week to begin a diet. Those who start a diet on a Sunday or Monday are far more likely to shed the most weight. Other findings:
– 88% of those, who start a diet on Sunday keep their weight off
– the average woman goes on three diets a year
– most people ditch their diet on a Friday after a stressful work week
– 25% of people have gained weight during a diet with the average weight gain being 6 pounds
