WUZZ “Black & Gold” Community Drop Off Day helping neighbors in need

The WUZZ “Black & Gold” Community Drop Off Day is Saturday, August 20 from 10am-2pm in the Meadville Downtown Mall parking lot near Tops supermarket. Rockin’ Rich from WUZZ will be broadcasting live as they collect items to help our neighbors in need in the community.

They’ll be collecting non-perishable canned and boxed food items for the Cornerstone Food Pantry. Please check to be sure they have not expired. You can also donate personal care items like toothpaste, shampoo and deodorant. The Pregnancy Center of Meadville, the United Way of Western Crawford County and Center for Family Services will also be collecting gently used items. You can donate items like baby clothing and furniture, tools and building items that you’re not using anymore, and gently used clothing for all ages.

Everyone who donates will be registered to win some donated “Black & Gold” prizes from the Steelers and Penguins.
