Drug Charges for Man After Crash

State Police report that Zane Miller of Corry is facing drug possession charges after a one vehicle crash in Sparta Township, Crawford County. It was last week when Miller crashed his Sedan on State Highway 89, which left his passenger injured and entrapped until extracted by Spartansburg firefighters. Now authorities allege they found marijuana and two pipes inside the vehicle.

Thursday night at 7PM in the Baron-Forness Library on the Edinboro University Campus is this month’s installment of Uncomfortable Conversations. The topic of conversation is The United States and The Middle East in the Trump era. Four expert panelists will discuss the topic with each other and the audience and the event is alway free and open to the public.

 

Criminal Investigation into Mariner Pipelines

A criminal investigation into the construction of the Mariner Pipelines in Delaware County is now being headed by the Pennsylvania Attorney General. Delaware County District Attorney Katayoun Copeland asked for the State’s assistance investigating Energy Transfer and Sunoco Logistics, which constructed Mariner East, mariner East 2, and Mariner XL pipelines. Sinkholes, poisoned wells, and other problems have plagued the construction and route of the pipelines and the investigation is to determine if either company was criminally negligent.
