Accident Injures Three

Three people were hospitalized in a 2 vehicle crash when a pair of SUV’s collided on Bredinsburg Road in Cranberry Township, Venango County. 63 year old Reginald Denny was flown UPMC Hamot in Erie after the crash and two women were taken to UPMC Northwest by ambulance. A one year old child in the back seat of Denny’s SUV was unharmed.

 

Firearm Stolen in Union City

State Police are investigating the case of a stolen handgun in Union City. The weapon was discovered missing from the glove box of a truck parked in the driveway of a home on 4th Avenue on January 30th and had been in the truck along with $40 in change the night before. The weapon is a Black Springfield .45 caliber XDS with a silver barrel. If you have information call the Corry State Police at (814)663-2043.

 

New Hunting Bills Submitted in PA House

Two new proposed laws in the State House would make some significant changes to hunting in Pennsylvania. The first of these two bills would allow hunters to apply for licenses online. The second seeks to reduce illegal trapping by increasing the fine for using illegally set body gripping traps from $200 to $1,500 per trap and impose an up to three month jail sentence.
