A Franklin Trooper was on their way to investigate of trespassing and harassment when Crawford allegedly came up behind their patrol vehicle in a truck and nearly collided with them. It’s said the officer observed him weaving around the road and driving erratically, and that he nearly collided with the trooper several times, including when they stopped him. Crawford is said to have been drunk and argumentative, refused to listen to the trooper’s orders and needed to be extracted from his vehicle with physical force.
